Emma and Phil proudly welcome you to the Bull and Lion!

Reputedly the only pub of that name in Britain, The Bull and Lion has been the heart of Packington since the 17th century.

Located just a mile from the historic town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and 5 minutes from the M42, the Bull and Lion is set in the beautiful village of Packington, in the heart of the national forest. The pub makes an ideal starting and finishing point for numerous lovely walkways in all directions.

There's ample parking for customers, two grassed areas - which are lovely on a summer’s day - and a purpose built smoking shelter with heated lamps.

Inside the pub there's a bar area with a darts board and, although we're not a sports pub, we do have a widescreen TV showing BT sports for those big matches.

The lounge is the perfect place to relax with friends at any time of the year, but between November and March visitors can enjoy the warmth of a traditional log fire.

The separate restaurant area is ideal for groups up to 14 people, although food is also served throughout the pub and in the garden.

Well behaved and clean dogs are always welcome.

Regular activities include a Quiz night every Tuesday at 9pm, with cash prizes and/or a bar tab. Entry is only £1 per person and all are welcome.

Wednesday is Pie and Pint day when you can get a freshly cooked pie with a free pint, regular wine, or soft drink. For only £9.95.

Delicious Sunday lunches are available for only £7.95 but they're incredibly popular so it's a good idea to book ahead.

"What a great village pub we have, the food was just perfect tonight, fresh and home cooked. Each time we go it just gets better. Well done to Phil and Emma for friendliness and giving us a great place to meet and eat, highly recommended!"
